Job Description
This position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- All experience levels will be considered but 1 to 10 years of operations experience is preferred.
- Experience in ethylene unit operations will be considered a plus.
- The individual must work effectively in a multicultural environment and with all levels of the plant organization.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills are required.
- The candidate should be a self-starter with solid planning and organizational skills.
- The successful candidate must have the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
Requirements :
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in the function including at least 3 years of experience in deep and ultra deep water drilling operations
- Solid knowledge of floating drilling and completion systems including deepwater rigs (semi-submersible and drillships) moored and DP equipments, their functionalities and operational differences. Knowledge and awareness of importance of HS&E procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Basic knowledge of drilling/completion fluids.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret well programs and technical reports.
- Ability to make technical presentations internally and to partners.
- Ability to lead alternate shift personnel, junior engineers and other operator representatives at rig site.
