Job Description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for meeting timely production objectives, men management at shop floor and proper handling & optimum utilization of man, material & machines as per the guidelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Responsible for adherence to laid down system & procedures at production shop floor.

- Responsible for meeting daily production targets (Plan vs actual) of specified quantity and quality in cost effective manner and ensure the productivity output on hourly basis.

- Responsible for daily men management, work allocation and getting the work done from operators & workmen.

- Responsible for implementation and maintenance of written production procedures and ensure procedures and processes are complete and accurate as per standards.

- Responsible for planning, job loading, supervision and process improvements at production shop floor.

- Responsible for production planning, job scheduling and machine loading with optimum batch size.

- Responsible for line supervision and recording & reporting of output on hourly basis for productivity measurement.

- Monitoring processes and subsequent performance of men and machines and identify the delay/ problem /deviation in their performance and taking appropriate actions .

- Identify delays or problems in production output on hourly basis, report the same and take appropriate and effective action to address and resolve it under the guidelines of reporting authority.

- Ensure equipment/ machines are fully functional and meets required standards

- Ensure the correct operating procedure is followed by the machine operators.

- Ensure the optimum utilization of equipment/ machines as per the operating procedure.

- Establish and maintain effective communication & reporting with cross functional departments, up and down the line in hierarchy.

- Ensure the cleanliness at shop floor and maintenance of the same.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Basic manufacturing process knowledge, 5 S, Kaizen etc.

SOFT SKILLS: Planning, organizing & monitoring, Manpower Handling, Problem Solving, Effective reporting & communication skill

- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings & monitoring quality control

Candidate Profile :

- Ensure availability of Input Materials, Manpower

- Understanding of new product development (NPD) projects

- Hands on experience on Mechanical Assembly, Machine Shop, Fabrication.

- Must know Local language, Disciplined & punctual
