Production Engineer (2-4 yrs)
- Plan and schedule daily production activities in the machine shop.
- Monitor and control machining operations, ensuring efficient use of resources (manpower, machines, materials).
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce cycle time, and minimize waste.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance for equipment repairs or modifications.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and assist in root cause analysis of defects or rejections.
- Support CNC programming and tooling selection based on part requirements and machine capabilities.
- Review and update work instructions, SOPs, and production documents.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to streamline operations.
- Monitor performance metrics (OEE, cycle time, downtime) and report regularly to management.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper usage of PPE and machine guards.
