About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer who can manage end-to-end fabrication for Ettle Industrial's stainless-steel and utility furniture systems. This role is primarily floor-driven: supervising fabrication, ensuring accuracy, costing, QC, and dispatch- along with developing basic documentation and gradually learning CAD.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands fabrication deeply and can be trained to handle digital workflows over time.

Key Responsibilities :

Production Execution :

- Lead daily fabrication activities for SS/MS workstation systems, tables, benches, railings, and industrial installations.

- Guide welders, fitters, bending operators, polishing teams through accurate interpretation of drawings.

- Approve first-piece samples and ensure correct production sequence.

- Troubleshoot alignment, tolerance, and assembly issues during fabrication.

Costing & Material Planning :

 - Prepare costing sheets for new projects and prototypes.

- Estimate fabrication time, RM requirements, finishing cycles, and hardware needs.

- Track market prices for SS304/MS and coordinate RM procurement with stores.

Quality Control :

- Inspect welds, bends, fits, hole alignment, and overall dimensional accuracy.

- Develop QC checklists for product families.

- Approve finished pieces before dispatch.

- Documentation & CAD Learning Path

- Maintain BOMs, fabrication notes, and revision logs.

- Learn basic CAD (2D/part updates) within the first few months.

- Support engineering documentation for repeatable production.

Logistics & Dispatch :

- Manage packing, loading/unloading, labelling, and dispatch supervision.

- Coordinate with logistics teams for site deliveries and installation prep.

Vendor Coordination :

- Follow up with external vendors: PVD, powder coating, laser cutting, and bending workshops.

- Compare quotations and evaluate quality.

What We- re Looking For

- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering (preferred).

- Strong hands-on fabrication exposure with SS304/MS structures.

- Ability to manage full production cycles independently.

- Eagerness to learn CAD tools (training will be provided).

- Ownership mindset, discipline, and attention to detail.

- Comfortable being present on the floor most of the day.
