About the Role:

We are hiring a Production Engineer to lead supplier manufacturing and quality initiatives for a global manufacturing organization. This is a supplier-facing role focused on improving production efficiency, quality compliance, and successful implementation of new products at vendor locations ..

The position works closely with suppliers and cross-functional global teams to drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and strong quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead supplier development for manufacturing capability and quality improvement projects.

- Drive new product implementation at supplier locations.

 -Evaluate potential new suppliers- production facilities and quality systems.

- Ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with organizational standards.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on production efficiency and cost-out.

- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

- Build strong partnerships with suppliers to achieve common business goal

Requirements:-

- 6- 15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering / production / quality / supplier development.

- Proven exposure to supplier management and project execution.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Background:-

- Supplier-facing manufacturing or production engineering roles.

- Exposure to metals / fabricated components / industrial manufacturing is a plus.
