Production Head - Heat Treatment/Hot Treatment (10-18 yrs)
People having an experience from Heat Treatment / Hot Treatment industry can only apply.
Location : Umargaon - Gujarat
Designation : Production Head
Education and Experience : Engineering degree in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Industrial engg.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for coordinating planning, implementing and directing the People Resources, equipment & supplies of the company to achieve the required Production objectives / target.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
- The position has ultimate responsibility in coordinating and planning production activity, managing operational risk and driving business goals.
- Review Production targets and projected plan with the operation Director and updates schedules & work plans accordingly.
- Strong Implementation level knowledge in production planning and scheduling process and related tools.
- Supporting the organization to build and develop business strategy for the product line
- Schedules and conduct regular meeting with both production and other key functions to achieve business plan.
- Align the Production system not only to supports the daily management of productions but also the longer-term objectives for growth and efficiency.
- Shall manage the performance of production areas by ensuring adequate training, development and performance management arrangements.
- Work closely with other function & key people for technology upgradation, approval process following closely with customers and end customers for new projects for all the products under the group
- A good team player and be a part of the local management team.
Experience :
- Working in advanced metal industry in stainless tube, rod mill with knowledge of Hot piercing, Extrusion & Pilgering.
- Application knowledge of Hot Treatment process like annealing, Pickling Tempering and passivation
- Working knowledge of good manufacturing practice eg Lean, single piece flow
- Basic knowledge of computers and business related applications like excel, etc-
