Production Manager - Inventory & Procurement (4-7 yrs)
Responsibilities :
1. Production Management :
2. Oversee the production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
3. Develop and implement production schedules, considering forecasted demand and available resources.
4. Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures.
5. Optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime by streamlining processes and improving workflows.
6. Maintain quality control standards throughout the production cycle.
7. Troubleshooting and Technical Expertise :
8. Possess strong knowledge of electronics and demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting electronic and PCB-level issues.
9. Analyze and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal disruptions to the production process.
10. Collaborate with the engineering team to address mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
11. Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
12. Inventory and Procurement Management:
13. Forecast production requirements based on sales forecasts, market trends, and customer demands.
14. Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stockkeeping and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
15. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
16. Develop relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
17. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
18. Team Leadership and Collaboration :
19. Lead and supervise production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
20. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
21. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure seamless production processes and alignment with organizational goals.
Deliverables :
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, methodologies and recommendation.
- Update and maintain the knowledge base of know defects and solutions.
- Daily Production Report
- Good Communication Skills
