Principal Responsibility :

- This position is primarily responsible to ensure that the manufacturing strategy as approved by senior management is implemented and regular feedback / vital information is provided to make informed decisions.

- Lead the shift team to deliver production volumes on schedule while maintaining set quality standards and ensure safety at all times.

- Prepare and distribute MIS reports. Stock Accounting, production v/s plan reporting, work permits, Raw-Material Shortages on Production Floor, Resolving all sorts of Issues arising, Safety related data, Losses Observation & Analysis etc.

- Support Quality initiatives and sustaining, to deliver best in class performance from the team.

- Responsible for conducting Training at shop flooras per the plant requirements/needs.

- Implementing & maintaining 5S activities at Shop Floor.

- Ensure effective man management by supporting, guiding & developing the team towards achievement of departmental objectives.

- Conduct Quality control testing.

- Able to prepare & operate standard operating procedure (SOPs) & work instructions

Knowledge :

- Sound technical knowledge of Production concepts and application.

- Knowledge of Tape manufacturing or adhesive coating.

- Knowledge of 7QC tools

- Knowledge of ISO/OHSAS

Additional Qualification :

- Need to demonstrate problem solving, performance management, Inter personal skills and IT literacy(MS-Office).

- Focuses effort and prioritizes work to deliver exceptional business value.

- Demonstrates understanding of internal and external customer needs and exceeds expectations.

- Ability to think out of the box and design innovative solutions.

- 5-6 years of proven experience in driving productivity, quality and yield improvemen

- Proficiency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Regional Language will be an advantage

- Needs to demonstrate good man management skills while being able to multitask and work in cross functional teams.

- Must have Leadership, Team building, Interpersonal & Analytical skills
