Project Engineer/Civil Engineer (5-8 yrs)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Engineer to manage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and field execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities and resources to meet project goals
- Supervise on-site construction teams and subcontractors
- Ensure project compliance with design, safety, and quality standards
- Prepare and manage project documentation including drawings, reports, and daily logs
- Monitor progress, costs, and budgets; identify and address potential delays
- Liaise with architects, consultants, suppliers, and clients
- Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulatory standards
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues on-site
- Report regularly on project status to management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Proficient in project management tools and construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Preferred:
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects
- Knowledge of safety and quality control procedures
