Project Engineer/Site Engineer
Project Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee the implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with project specifications and objectives.
Site Supervision and Coordination:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Technical Oversight:
- Interpret and review technical drawings, blueprints, and design documents.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and adherence to engineering specifications.
Resource Management:
- Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Ensure all resources are available and deployed effectively to meet project milestones.
Quality Assurance and Control:
- Implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet required standards.
- Conduct regular testing and inspection to identify and rectify defects or discrepancies.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations on-site.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions for site personnel.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily progress reports, resource utilization, and incident logs.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management on project progress and challenges.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on-site.
- Proactively address delays and risks to keep the project on track.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Represent the organization in meetings and provide technical guidance when required.
Adherence to Local Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and legal requirements in D.R. Congo.
Other Requirements:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Willingness to relocate and work in D.R. Congo.
