Position: Project Head

Location: Pune (Maharashtra)

Department: Project Management & Execution

Reports To: Senior Management

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Project Head with strong expertise in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) and Construction Management to lead the Project. The role will involve complete ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery within approved timelines, cost, and quality standards, while ensuring effective coordination between consultants, contractors, vendors, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Project from concept to completion with focus on PMC & Construction execution.

- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with standards.

- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities for approvals and project requirements.

- Review design drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and provide inputs for constructability.

- Ensure strict adherence to timelines, cost control, and quality benchmarks.

- Manage contractors/vendors, monitor progress, and resolve site-level issues.

- Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays or cost overruns.

- Prepare and present progress reports, MIS, and updates to senior management.

- Lead and mentor site teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Master's / PMP / PRINCE2 preferred).

- 7- 12 years of experience in Project Management, with at least 5 years in PMC & Construction projects.

- Proven track record in handling large-scale infrastructure / industrial / water supply / EPC projects.

- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.

- Strong understanding of project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, etc.).

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
