Project Manager - Energy Sector (8-13 yrs)
Seeking a PMI-certified DGM - Project Management to lead energy sector projects. Responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality & safety standards. This role is for an SME which is into manufacturing eco-friendly building materials and providing sustainable solutions in bio-energy generation and wastewater treatment.
Responsibilities :
- Manage energy sector projects like ETP, CBG, etc. from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for timely executions.
- Coordinate with site engineers, Purchase Department, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions.
- Drive project follow-ups and reporting.
- Lead and mentor project teams.
- Optimize resources and control costs.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelor- s/Master's in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil) or related fields.
- Certification: PMI (PMP) certification is mandatory.
- Experience: 8-12 years in energy sector project management.
- Strong expertise in project execution, planning, and monitoring.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance.
- Experience in vendor management and procurement.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in renewable energy, power plants, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Strong financial and risk management knowledge.
