Project Manager - High Rise Building Construction (12-23 yrs)
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the High rise building construction project in the Chennai. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong track record in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in High rise building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning : Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables for the airport construction project.
- Budget and Cost Management : Establish and manage the project budget, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Team Leadership : Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and support staff.
- Quality Control : Implement and maintain a rigorous quality control process to ensure that all construction work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
- Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate or address them, ensuring minimal disruption to the project schedule.
- Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including the client, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Construction Progress Monitoring : Regularly monitor and report on project progress, tracking key performance indicators and addressing any deviations from the project schedule.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all construction activities are compliant with local regulations and aviation industry standards.
- Health and Safety : Prioritize health and safety protocols on the construction site, maintaining a safe work environment for all workers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 15+ experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a specific focus on high rise building construction projects.
- Strong understanding of airport construction regulations and safety standards.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
