Project Manager (Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation) - PHARMA


Job Description :


- Pharma Project Planning, Execution and Project Management of Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation of API, Solid Dosage Forms, Semi-Solid Dosage Forms, Liquid Dosage Forms, Injectable Form Project and Expansion Project.

- To develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

- To work with management & technical team to understand requirement of project including machinery, budgets & timeline, finalize specifications based on trials with technical team for the same

- To help technical team & subject experts to create the resources/ infrastructure for taking pilot trials or evaluate new equipment for technology up gradation in the plant before the process is implemented in full scale

- To make sure that the developed layout is as per the industrial rules & regulations & to get the required approvals for the plans

- To oversee all onsite and offsite constructions activities and monitor compliance, target timelines, budget and safety regulations to ensure optimise utilization of resources

- To co-ordinate with vendors for delivery /installation / commissioning of machines based on PO

- Adequate knowledge of business & management principles (Budgeting, Vendor management ) planning of resource

- Familiar with industry standards equipment & technical expertise

- Sound knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory & processes.

- Knowledge liasioning work for the project with relevant authorities

- Knowledge of designing, commissioning and execution of the project

- Knowledge of AutoCAD, primavera software and MS Project

- Sound knowledge of Pharma Project

- Should have exposure in document preparation, implementation and co- ordination viz. facility validation protocols, and PQ of various facilities to the standard of USFDA or UKMHRA.

Qualification And Experience :

i. BE in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineering with about 7-10 years- experience in Pharma Formulations and API Industries of solid dosage forms.

ii. Proven work experience as a project in charge handling execution.

iii. Proven managerial experience, team player and Interpersonal skills.

iv. Makes sensible, intelligent decisions in difficult and deadline driven situations.

v. Strong team building, decision making & people management skills.

vi. Demonstrates passion - approaches all tasks in an Enthusiastic way. Committed to upholding professional standards.

vii. Takes responsibility for own actions and visibly supports the senior leadership team and their agenda.

viii. Good Communication and Command over his language, Excellent Client Facing communication skills

ix. Advance Time Management and Analytical Skills

x. Advanced knowledge on software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel Power Point), MS Projects, AutoCad

xi. Candidate should have strong analytical skills, logical management skills, man management skills, a go- getter and willing to upgrade skills laterally.

xii. Ability to lead and influence matrix projects teams in the design and execution of project plans including utilization of resources (FTE and budget).

xiii. A performance-driven individual, with a strong sense of urgency, exceptional organizational credibility, and deep understanding of the business.

xiv. Demonstrated knowledge and application of skills in all relevant components of project management, including management of scope, time, cost, quality, integration, influence & negotiation, communications, risk, and scenario planning across all project management focus areas (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing R&D projects).

xv. Practical experience in a previous project management role and, ideally, certification in PMP, APM or PRINCE2.

xvi. Demonstrated ability in relevant soft skills including change management, continuous improvement, conflict resolution and consensus building.
