Project Manager - Process Operations (15-20 yrs)
Our client is a Listed MNC in the business of commercialising leading-edge coal and iron-making technologies
Their core competencies in process development, applied research, business development and corporate governance underpin their strategic-partnering business model, which leverages industry expertise to drive technology development and mitigate risk while maintaining the agility necessary to navigate often-uncertain political, social and economic conditions.
For a prestigious project with a couple of leading PSUs in India, we are looking for a Project Manager at Chennai
Ideally you have :
- Leadership in a project management role in a multidisciplinary program; Could be within an EPC environment, or from the Customer side
- University degree in engineering (could be Mech, Chem, Process, possibly even metallurgist)
- Min 10 yrs experience - with a range of roles across facets of engineering and project management
- Able to work with minimal supervision / at a distance
- Self-motivated, high energy personality, yet able to manage relationships with partners who are less energetic
- Measured risk profile - not conservative, but sensible approach to calculated risk exposure
- Eager learner / curious by nature - invests in self education, seeks learning opportunities (demonstrated by career path choices made)
- Good communications skills (Hindi and English mandatory); Comprehension and adaptability required
- Ready for senior management role
Bonus Points:
- Process industry experience (operations)
- Engineering consultancy experience (e.g. design house / EPC organisation)
- Fabrication &/or Construction experience
