Job Description:

The basic function of the Project Manager is to ensure that projects are planned,coordinated and completed in a timely, efficient, effective and profitable manner

Key Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate and manage all onsite activities in the installation of foundations and erection of structures/modules

Prepare a detailed project plan

Develop install procedures and QAP for the onsite work

Closely monitor the progress and dynamically make the necessary work flow changes onsite to improve productivity

Anticipate issues that may impact schedule and timelines and plan ahead for contingencies for smooth work execution onsite

Interface with customer onsite and set correct expectations and meet the expectation.

Communicate clearly the daily progress report onsite

Manage the project on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including (but not limited to):

- Monitor, follow-up and collect all project receivables within the Contracts terms.

- Supervise to ensure project is on schedule and on budget.

- Monitor and maintain the project schedule including scheduling subcontractors, material suppliers and other vendors.

- Ensure all items on the Project checklist have been completed as required.

- Close out project in a timely manner

Buy-out materials and sub-contractors at or below the amount in the original estimate.

Prepare all required company reports in an accurate and timely manner.

Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information.

Candidate has to interact with customers during the execution of the contract and continuously ensure contract compliance or seek amendments.

Skills /Attributes:

Mechanical / civil engineering background

Knowledge of and experience in project management applications

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Microsoft Project

Knowledge of AutoCAD

Working knowledge of legal issues including contracts, liens, laborstandards, retainage and other related topics.

Technical ability to understand the challenges related to drilling, ramming in various soil conditions and make changes real-time to complete the task

Awareness and implementation of the safety actions onsite
