Job Role :

The Planning Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, development of sub-programs/ tracking programs for construction operations.

Job Description :

- Preparation of project plan & project budget

- Implementation of project plan & ensures logical sequencing of plan based on resources

- Plans resources, arrangement & allocation of resources as per the project plan

- Monitors construction schedule & highlights anticipated delays/deviancies in advance

- To prepare method statement & submits to clients/consultants for approval

- To prepare time cycle charts of major activities of work

- To conduct progress review meetings at fixed intervals.

- To analyze the gaps between the planned vs actual and highlight the areas needing attention for the action of the project team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

Education : 

- Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture from a recognized University

Experience : 

- Minimum of 8 - 16 years of relevant work experience in building works

Technical Competencies :

- Must be competent in operating Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project OR Microsoft Office software

- Good command of both written and spoken English language. Knowledge of spoken Mandarin is an advantage

- Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural and Civil works

- Ability to build and maintain a positive relationship and with various stakeholders.

- Infrastructure / Construction / Aluminium Windows, Doors, Facade, ACP, Curtain walls, Cladding & Glazing Systems OR from Automobile/ Automotive
