Responsibilities and Duties :
WANTED Pump Technician/ Assembly Engineer for Chemical Pumps, AODD range assembly:
1) Repairs pumps of paper making machinery: Examines pumps for malfunctioning and to locate damage or wear, such as blowout packing, misalignment ofpumpshaft, slippage ofdrivebelt, worn bearings, or need for lubrication.
2) Observes operation of pumps and feels for heat and vibration of parts to detectcauseof malfunctioning.
3) Dismantles pumps and performs repairs, such as cleaning impellers, repacking stuffing boxes, tightening glands, and replacing bearings, using handtools.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :
- Should have worked as a technician in the Pump Industry for at least 2-4 years
