Purchase Engineer (8-13 yrs)
We are having an opening for the post of ''Purchase Engineer'' in an Engineering Company.
Location : Ahmedabad
Experience : Min. 8 years. Heading the Purchasing department (to be precise in managerial position).
Salary : Up to 60,000
Qualification :
- Diploma / Degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Mechanical Engineer Preferable)
- Managing a team in purchase. Must have dealt with purchasing of high range of engineering products / consumables
Job Description :
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Vendor development & management
- Ensure best product at the best price
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Comparing the technical drawings
