Purchase Engineer - Auto Ancillary (5-8 yrs)
Our Client is a French multinational corporation. Originally a mirror manufacturer, it now also produces a variety of construction and high-performance materials.
Job Title : Engineer - Purchase
Location : Nagpur
Experience : 5 to 8 years
Qualification : B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical/Auto Engineering, Diploma in Materials Management(Preferred)
Nature of experience : Experience in Negotiations & Techno-Commercial evaluations
- Experience in planning, scheduling and vendor management
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities :
- Identifying, evaluating and finalizing potential suppliers jointly with end users & Process team for ORM,Capex, MRO,Consumables, Safety Materials, Uniforms, Packing Materials, Services/supplies, In-bound & Out-bound transportation.
- Obtaining techno commercial offers from various suppliers, evaluating, comparing and bench marking for effective negotiation.
- Negotiating with suppliers for price, delivery and other techno commercial terms.
- Finalizing and executing contracts in compliance with legal and statutory requirements for ORM,MRO, Capex, Services/supplies, Consumables, Safety materials, Uniforms, Packing Materials & transportation.
- Procuring materials / services in right quality, right quantity, right time & at right price.
- Releasing PO & SO through IIS/SAP - MM Module.
- Maintaining optimum inventory level for ORM & Chemicals.
- Liaising with Finance for timely release of payments, advance payments and reconciliation.
- Contributing in all relevant audits & WCM Journey.
- Monthly timely reporting - Dash Board.
