1. Raw Material Procurement in ANY SHEET METAL COMPANY :

- Source, evaluate, and procure raw materials required for sheet metal production.

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.

- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to optimize procurement costs.

2. Coordination with Maruti Suzuki :

- Act as the liaison between our company and Maruti Suzuki to understand their specific material requirements.

- Collaborate closely with Maruti Suzuki's procurement teams to align purchasing strategies and fulfill their needs efficiently.

- Ensure compliance with Maruti Suzuki's standards and procedures for material procurement.

3. Vendor Management :

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers/vendors while maintaining relationships with existing ones.

- Monitor vendor performance, conduct audits, and address any issues to maintain high-quality standards.

4. Inventory Management :

- Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or shortage risks.

- Coordinate with production teams to ensure adequate raw material availability for seamless operations.

5. Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, pricing, and supplier information.

- Generate reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and vendor performance metrics for management review.

6. Compliance and Cost Management :

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all procurement activities.

- Monitor and control procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Diploma/B.Tech) with a focus on Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields.

- Proven experience (4 TO 9 years) in procurement within the sheet metal industry, preferably in a similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of raw materials used in sheet metal production and their specifications.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective vendor management.

- Familiarity with procurement software/tools and excellent computer literacy.

- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and under tight deadlines.
