Qualification and Education requirements Experience :

- B.E. Chemical/B Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry with good

Professional experience : 3-5 years with good exposure in SCM from Chemical Industry. (Candidates from Grease / Lubrication/Speciality

- Chemicals/Oil manufacturing plants with good Negotiations / Management skills preferred.)

Key responsibilities :

- Knowledge in P2P process & operational procurement.

- Vendor Audits, Vendor Evaluation & sourcing.

- Exposure to CAPEX procurement will be added advantage.

- Knowledge on Import & Clearance is must, Strong in all statutory requirements wrt. Local & International market / standards/regulations etc.

- Planning & coordinating with both internal & external customers, implementing the procurement plan & strategies and thereby improving the procurement system.

- Thorough knowledge in import of RM across the globe & custom procedures.

- Develop different sources of RM procurement, ensuring competitive price and maintain quality standards, identify the manufacturers and develop relationships; should understand the supplier's business and their ingredients; Rate the suppliers on the various parameters  financial and manufacturing capacity.

- Ensure material delivery on schedule through proper follow-up & coordination

- To work jointly with vendor, technical & QA in case of continuous rejections or new vendor/material development.

- Knowledge on ISO TS/IAFT is must.
