Job Description

we have urgent requirement for position as Purchase person.

1. Work responsibility :

- Send enquiries to eligible suppliers/ vendors based on drawings & specification released by Engineering department and get offers from them.

- Pass on these offers to engineering department for technical evaluation for bought out item. For raw materials, he needs to evaluate base d on release drgs/ specs

- Once offers are technically ok, he is required to finalize with vendors the commercial terms as informed to him for specific project.

- Make commercial negotiations with suppliers

- He is then required to make a comparison table indicating all the costs for at least 3 suppliers and send to Project team for approval

- Once project team has cleared supplier, he supposed to issue Purchase order in SAP system.

- Maintain database on suppliers based on his specialties and keep updated the new suppliers.

- Other responsibilities that fall under purchase departments.

2. Contract period

- At the moment 3 to 4 months max.

3. Education qualification & experience :

- BE mechanical with minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in purchase department in a MNC company preferred.

- If not, he should be at least a Diploma in Mechanical engineering with experience indicated above.

- Knowledge of SAP system is mandatory as all our P.O are routed through SAP.
