Purchase Manager (7-10 yrs)
Position : Purchase Manager
Job description :
Responsibilities / Job Functions :
1. Procurement of raw material from national and international market.
2. Should be well versed with export/import documentation.
3. Development of new vendors and find equivalent.
4. Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.
5. Ensuring Timely Procurement Chemicals and other materials from the market.
6. Co-ordination between Designed, Stores, Quality Control, Accounts, Manufacturing Depts.
7. Reporting to Director and take approval for Po's
8. Liaison with production department to keep optimum Inventory.
9. Liaison with Finance department for timely payment of bills.
10. Ensuring Optimum Inventory Level
11. Responsible for purchasing related duties such as purchase order issuance, follow up delivery and payment reconciliation etc
12. Generate purchase MIS
13. Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
14. Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis.
15. Review deliveries against the orders.
16. Scope of work involves both capex and opex purchase

Desired Candidate's Profile
Experience - 7 to 10 years
Candidates with experience in Chemical/Compounding industry shall having an added advantage.
