Purchase Manager - Procurement/Material Management (5-12 yrs)
Qualification : Any Graduate
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and update purchasing policy and planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to the procurement SOP.
- Manage purchasing information and systems, and review procurement strategy with the management team.
- Manage and develop the existing supplier pool and update the Approved Vendor List.
- Develop alternate vendors for cos reduction.
- Negotiate with local and international suppliers; prepare price comparisons, cost saving budgeting and targeting.
- Negotiate and set up Annual contracts.
- Effective and proactive liaison with logistics for timely movement of materials from the vendors and to ensure uninterrupted production without any material shortage.
- Effective& proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast, plan to meet purchase deadline, to bundling of demands as necessary.
- Administration and reporting as necessary
