QA/QC Civil Engineer (2-4 yrs)

ROLE PURPOSE:
The PDQI Engineer will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day quality inspections for residential projects, including Mivan shuttering and conventional construction works. The role involves monitoring site quality, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and codes, and preparing inspection reports for client submission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of civil works (shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, blockwork, plastering, finishing).
- Verify work against approved drawings, specifications, and IS codes.
- Prepare checklists, inspection reports, and maintain NCR records.
- Identify non-conformances and escalate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with site engineers/contractors for rectifications.
- Assist in preparing consolidated reports for Lead QC.
- Support audits, ITP/MTP implementation, and quality documentation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of Mivan shuttering and conventional construction techniques.
- Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, IS codes, and checklists.
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and support client-facing requirements
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 1- 4 years of QA/QC experience in residential or commercial construction.
- Exposure to third-party quality inspections preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO/QMS standards is an added advantage.
