QA/QC Manager - Manufacturing Domain (10-15 yrs)
A Top Manufacturing Company in Conveyor and Materials Handling business is looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager for their plant in Patancheru, Hyderabad.
Job Purpose:
Quality Manager's aim is to ensure that the product or service, an organization provides is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements and achieves company's objective. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations.
Required Exposure in:
10-15 years of Significant experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive. Required Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing skills and experience of dealing with customers and Vendors.
Qualifications:
- Education: BE in Mechanical Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Understand and improve company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
- Devise and review specifications for products or processes
- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance. work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines
- Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency, collaborate with VM
- Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
