QC Manager - Mechanical (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :
- Manage, monitor and control all QA/QC activities throughout the plant Incoming, Line, in process and Outgoing inspections.
- Establish and continually upgrade QA system in line with customer requirements and ensure quality conformance and process adherence.
- Implementing quality tools such as ISO 9001: 2008, QAP, ITP, TQM, Lean Manufacturing, PDCA, 5s, & Kaizen for continuous improvement.
- Minimize the COPQ and rejections by implementing process controls and inspection stages.
- Ensure and maintain ISO: 9001, and quality management system documentation throughout the organization and -perform Internal audits.
- Lead and direct team to prepare QAP, Protocol reports, Technical Specifications, Probable causes of Defects, on the basis of design / drawings.
- Ensure overall quality function, including supplier development and supplier quality assurance, Calibration of instruments and machineries, arrange various type of destructive and non-destructive testing, welders and fitters training programmes etc including sub-contractor management, etc.
- Ensuring supplier up gradation through time to time supplier quality capability assessments, supplier audit score up gradation, improving supplier performance for quality and delivery.
- Experience of SAP is MUST .
