Quality Assurance Manager

- Develop and review process documentation and control plans for plant activities

- Responsible for timely inspection of all sites

- To continuously monitor quality of products, processes & services to ensure compliance with global standards.

- To undertake process oriented and product oriented quality planning in tune with market and customer requirements.

- Coordinating the inspection planning and experienced in documenting and plotting inspection data as and when required

- Training the Manufacturing team on various tools and techniques as well as systems and manufacturing processes.

- Interact and coordinate with - incoming quality cell and in-house process owners for continuous product quality and process capability enhancement.

- Overall exposure to quality assurance and supplier quality.

- Continuous quality improvements and continuous cost reduction.

- To attend and resolve internal and external customer complaints.

- Following standardized procedures and instructions while during processing and also during final inspections across a wide variety of products

- Maintaining the records of the inspections undertaken and prepare authentic Quality Assurance reports

- Determining the methods of inspection and setting up the requirements accordingly

- Handling the authority and responsibility of halting the machine operation in order to avoid continued production of defective product

- Responsible for calibration programs that monitors and control production and quality control gauges

- Ability to work as a team player and contribute towards organization's success

Qualification & Experience (Must) :

- B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Metallurgy discipline. Post graduation in Management discipline will be an added advantage

- 10+ years of work experience in Steel/ Foundry industry as a QA Manager.
