Quality Check Engineer - CAD/CATIA (1-6 yrs)
Qualification Required - B.E
Experience Required - 1 to 6 yrs in UG NX (3D & 2D)
Duties and Responsibilities of the position :
- Conduct Quality check of received KEMs (Engg Change Orders)
- Independently process KEMs through the release system with required quality
- Generate numbers requested by designers (Part nos, Part List Variants (PLVs) and KEM numbers)
- Analyse codes in code list, conduct feasibility checks, generate variant BoM
- Download BoM for selected vehicle variants and publish standard and customised reports
- Trouble shooting, issue handling and escalation as appropriate
Required Skill and Knowledge :
- Experience in automotive design, development and releasing. Commercial vehicles experience preferred.
- Hands on experience in CAD tools (CATIA and NX preferred)
- Experience in Product Data Management, Product Life cycle management and Engineering change engagement.
- Expertise in MS-Excel, MS-Access and Power-point
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
