Quality Control Engineer (0-1 yrs)
Job Description: Quality Control Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and record customer NCRs, complaints, and quality issues.
- Assist in investigation of customer complaints using problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
- Support implementation and verification of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Ensure timely closure of NCRs and assist in preparing customer responses.
- Maintain records of NCRs, CAPA, and corrective actions as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Support internal and external audits related to quality and customer complaints.
- Assist in tracking quality trends, scrap, rework, and improvement actions.
- Support quality improvement and continuous improvement activities.
- Any other work assigned by seniors or HOD.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Understanding of quality tools such as 7 QC tools, 5 Why, Fishbone (training will be provided).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, etc.).
- Familiarity with inspection instruments is an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
Qualifications & Skills :
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
