Quality Engineer (1-16 yrs)
Designation - Quality Engineer
Location - Vasai (Factory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance standards, procedures, and processes.
- Monitor production and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and audits of materials, products, and processes.
- Maintain and analyze quality metrics and reports (e.g., scrap rate, customer complaints, process capability).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and supply chain to address quality concerns.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) with quality planning, including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, or others depending on industry).
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
- Train team members on quality procedures and continuous improvement practices.
Key Requirements for the Role:
- BE in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 0 to 3 years of experience in quality control/assurance within fasteners or precision components manufacturing
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM)
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and corrective action processes
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Smart approach for quality process development.
- Preferred experience with the following machines:
- Hardness Testing Machine
- Drill Testing Machine
- Profile Projector
- Universal Testing Machine (UTM)
Proposed Salary Range: - 20,000 - - 25,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
