Quality Engineer (2-4 yrs)
Responsibilities :-
- Regular inspection of inprocess / Finished goods as per Crompton Quality assurance plan and identifying gaps in manufacturing systems / quality systems and guiding/ monitoring the improvements for same.
- Take corrective & preventive actions to eliminate the quality problems in the products through indepth analyses of data.
- Product quality improvement projects design/ quality /process improvements projects.
- Conduct regular audits - Process/ Product/ Layered/ VQP
- Support NPD for N10, N100 and ensure documentation thereof.
- Indepth analysis of quality issues in market / PPR analysis, market visits, identification of top defects, RCA, CAPA & effectiveness thereof.
- Tracking of quality parameters - internal as well as external, vendor wise, product category wise, identification of projects, handholding of vendors, regular reviews, etc.
- Implementation of Crompton systems/ policy's at vendors end. Regular Audits, identification & bridging the gaps.
- Coordination with all stakeholders for highlighting and resolving issues proactively.
- Support NPD at vendors and ensure all quality improvement actions are being taken care of.
- Keep proper records / documentation as per Crompton quality system requirements.
