Job Title : Engineer - Quality

Location : Nagpur

Experience : 4 to 9 years

Qualification : BE / Btech (Mechanical Engineering)

- Nature of experience : Knowledge on process capabilities studies and usage of control chart

- Knowledge of calibration, different testing procedure, process and sources

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities :

- Able to ensure products of right quality delivered by adherence/improvement in systems

- Lead the investigation of customer non-conformance reports and all responses using the 8D Problem Solving methodology

- Responsible for Root cause analysis, corrective action & preventive action (Rejections and complaints)

- Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained

- Coordination for third party inspection related with product inspection/customer audit

- Drive 5S improvements and other improvement initiatives in QA function

- Participate in Wcm Improvement projects

- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements

- Prepare and perform IMS (Integrated Management System) audits to insure that all procedures and instructions related to the IMS are adhered to

- Train Quality Inspectors and Lead Hands to follow Quality Inspection Instructions

- Track and prepare monthly reports for internal and external quality performance metrics

- Visit customers and suppliers as required to investigate non-conformance issues
