Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Travel: Frequent domestic & international travel (India & Bangladesh)

RoleOverview

DATRAX is hiring a Head of Quality for one of its renowned clients in the apparel & garment manufacturing industry.

This leadership role will be responsible for end-to-end quality control and assurance, ensuring products meet global quality standards, compliance norms, and customer expectations across the supply chain- from raw materials to finished garments.

KeyResponsibilities

- Define and drive end-to-end quality strategy aligned with business and customer expectations

- Lead, train, and manage QA teams across factories and supplier locations

- Establish, monitor, and enforce quality KPIs, SOPs, and benchmarks

- Partner with sourcing & procurement teams for fabric, trims, and raw material quality

- Conduct supplier audits, approvals, and compliance checks

- Implement incoming, in-line, and end-of-line inspection systems

- Ensure compliance with REACH, CPSIA, OEKO-TEX, ISO 9001 and other global standards

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and returns

- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, CAPA methodologies for process excellence

- Handle customer complaints, quality issues, and corrective actions

- Manage internal & external audits and certifications (GOTS, Fair Trade, etc.)

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, Production & Logistics

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's / Master's degree from NIFT or in Fashion Technology, Quality Management, or related field

- 10- 12 years of experience in quality management within the garment/apparel industry (innerwear & outerwear)

- Proven experience managing multi-location QA teams and suppliers

- Strong understanding of cutting, sewing, finishing, fabric testing & garment construction

- Certifications like Six Sigma / FIRE are an added advantage

- Experience in supplier management, defect reduction & customer complaint handling
