Quality Head - Auto Component Manufacturing (12-18 yrs)
The Company :
A leading auto component / OEM mfg with multi location operations.
Purpose : Responsible for the in-process & final quality of the products.
Key deliverables (including but not limited to) :
1. Supplier quality Analysis and ensuring the quality of incoming materials
2. Initiatives to improve the incoming quality of the components
3. Responsible for the Product Audits in the Plant - Reviewing audit reports & Approvals, Responsible for mock audits in the plant, Reviewing audit reports & Approvals, Reviewing dummy run reports
4. Responsible for Product reliability in the Plant - Test plan monitoring, Joint analysis
5. Responsible for APQP & PPAP activities in the Plants scope - Control plan approvals, Reviewing Lay out audit reports & approval, gauges approval
6. Customer complaints handling - Root Cause analysis, Corrective and preventive action Initiation
7. Analyzing Final rejection and approving corrective action
8. Professional Development of team
Person for the role :
- BE (Mechanical / Production/ Automobile) with about 5 to 20 years of Experience in Quality engineering with minimum 5 years in the managerial capacity in a auto ancillary / OEM set up.
- Good understanding of Quality Management systems and processes with hands on experience handling quality function for a plant.
- Leadership and team management skills
- Certifications and exposure relevant to quality management role.
