Industry Focus: Manufacturing, Automobile, Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & QMS: Define, develop, and implement Quality Assurance/Quality Control programs and strategies to ensure compliance with company and international standards (ISO, GMP, BIS, etc.).

Quality System Management: Maintain, review, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), including Document Master Records (DMRs) and raw material specifications.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train a team of QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians, fostering a strong "quality first" culture.

Audit Management: Handle internal and external audits, including client audits and third-party regulatory audits.

Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify areas for process optimization using Lean quality tools, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Inspection & Testing: Oversee the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and method statements to ensure all products/projects meet defined quality standards.

Reporting & Analysis: Analyze quality data to identify trends, generate reports (weekly/monthly) for management, and drive improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical) or related field.

Experience: 10-15+ years of hands-on experience in QA/QC, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Certifications: TQM, Six Sigma, Lean Management, or ISO Lead Auditor certifications.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant industry codes (e.g., BIS, EN71, ASTM for manufacturing; IS codes for civil).

Analytical Skills: Strong root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving skills.

Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Quality Management software.
