Quality Manager - Chemical (12-15 yrs)
Nature of experience :
Should have been leading a team, handling Quality Assurance function independently with good understanding of EHS, WCM and lean manufacturing, process fuctions activities.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities :
- Ensuring highest quality of output and consistency thereof
- Implementation of right systems and processes to achieve high sigma level of quality
- Inculcating quality culture through QMS /WCM improvements & adherence.
- Handling & guiding of process and quality improvement projects like Six Sigma etc.
- Management of Quality function of the division through setting objectives, creating road maps & meeting the set targets.
- Offsite manufacturing evaluation & their system improvements to ensure quality output.
Technical Competencies :
- Strong engineering fundamentals, good understanding of Chemistry ( Resins, fillers etc)
- End to end understanding of materials, manufacturing and customer applications
- Proven experience of effective implementation of Quality Management System (QMS). Exposure to IMS, ISO 9001: 2015 &TS would be preferred.
- Understanding of statistical tools & strong analytical skills
- Problem solving techniques - Six Sigma, Gemba, Root Cause Analysis etc.
- Establishing procedures for new products
- Good understanding of ERP
- Preparation of quality reports & implementation of CAPA.
