Our client is one of the leading engineering companies in India and has been serving a plethora of clients from various industries viz. Power, Mining, Cement & Steel.

Currently we are seeking applications for Quality Manager position to be based in Baramati.

Key responsibilities include :

1. Developing and updating quality assurance and control processes. QAP for various products and services.

2. Developing team for QAC under you for inward, in-process and final inspection and testing.

3. Inspecting and approving the quality of critical components.

4. Suggesting and implementing quality manufacturing processes.

5. Non-conformities management, decision making.

6. Leading TQM initiatives with design and production for process improvements.

7. Root cause analysis and its documentation.

8. Manage 3rd party inspection/customer inspection and witness testing.

9. Liasioning with outside laboratories for material testing.

10. Set up and be in-charge of in-house laboratory.

11. Working together with production supervisors/work managers to discuss solutions to quality issues.

12. Satisfying customer expectations about the products quality.

13. Complying with ISO accreditation requirements.

14. Training new Quality Control employees.

15. Continuing education on newly developing Quality Control Techniques.

16. Working together with production supervisors/works manager to discuss solutions to quality issues.

Salary:INR 6,00,000 - 7,50,000 P.A.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 10+ years of experience

- 5+ in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in Fabrication (e.g. pressure vessels, boilers, conveyors etc.)

- Knowledge of QMS(Quality Management Systems).

- Good understanding of drawings and documents.

- Knowledge of Welding and other fabrication and machining processes.

- Knowledge of small and medium size machinery and equipment assembly.

- Knowledge of NDT, 5S and Quality Audits.

- Management, Teamwork, Leadership, Eye For Detail, Thoroughness,

- Ability to handle Pressure, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, Multi-Tasking

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Mechanical
