Quality & Technical Manager - Chemical Manufacturing (10-15 yrs)

Preferred Work Experience:

- 10 -15 years of hands on experience in handling Quality Control, Quality Assurance & Process Engineering, out of which minimum 5 years as Quality Head in chemical process industry, preferably MNC

- Ability to independently manage Quality and Technical function of multiple process plants

- Experience in quality management of batch and continuous processes

- Preferable 3-4 years exposure to Process Engineering or Technical services or Projects.

- Experience of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is preferred

- Strong knowledge on EHS rules, regulations and systems

- Experience as Management Integrator of ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and BS18001., ISO 50001 is desirable

- Knowledge of SAP PP, MM, PM

- Knowledge of Working in Precious Metal processing will be an added advantage

- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary team is desirable

Preferred Education background:

- Chemical Engineering Graduate/M.Sc.in Chemistry from institute of well repute.

Major Duties & Responsibilities :

- Ensuring Zero EHS incident in QC lab

- Complete responsibility of management of Quality and Process Engineering activities in all the Plants at the site.

- Ensuring on time analytical support to internal & external customers by leading QC team

- Ensuring finished product quality & shipment as per Quality protocol

- Ensure zero noncompliance in IMS internal, external & Customer audits & visits

- Ensure time bound resolution of Customer complaints

- Ensuring compliance of change management policy

- Responsibility for Training & Development of all Quality and Process Engineering personnel at all levels.

- Coordination with all cross functional departments for ensuring smooth achievement of business objectives.

- Initiate and implement improvement projects for EHS, Quality, Cost & Delivery

- Trouble shooting and De-bottlenecking of quality problems through CAPA system

- Ensure continuous improvement of management system to achieve FTR quality

- Analyzing customer satisfaction survey & troubleshooting of customer's issues by visiting their sites as & when need arises
