JOB DESCRIPTION:

1) PPC (predictive, preventive and corrective):

a) Review of break-down trends of all the plant for the reliability of the plant and machines.

b) Trouble shooting and preventive / breakdown maintenance (Regular-maintenance, preventive-maintenance, predictive maintenance and planned maintenance) of machines so as to reduce down time to minimum

c) Scheduling & planning of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance jobs (Electrical / Mechanical) with key focus on root cause analysis and problem elimination

d) Make available necessary knowledge and resources for any chronic problem.

e) Develop system for records and analysis of break-downs.

f) Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.

2) Spare part management

a) Control and monitor overall maintenance spare part inventory.

b) Standardize the maintenance of spares to reduce varieties of spares.

3) Budgeting and Cost management

a) Responsible for preparing annual maintenance budget.

b) Review the annual maintenance budget.

c) Renewal of annual maintenance contract.

d) Ensure compliance of all maintenance contracts.

4) Energy management

a) Determine load factor in each plant.

b) Identify area of energy loss and prepare information plan.

c) Co-coordinating with management for additional energy requirement.

d) Monitor compliance with all statutory requirement along with safety officer .

e) Process Improvement

f) Initiate energy saving activities

5) Audits

a) Periodical audits for safety

b) Maintenance Audits - (Ensure external audit has been done timely for all utilities)

6) Knowledge on Environmental laws & Safety requirements

a) Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.

b) Undertake regular machines and equipment inspection to reduce accidents and adhere to safety norms

7) General Maintenance Activities:

a) Minimize down time of machines

b) Modification in machines from use and maintenance point of view and as per production requirement/targets

c) Accountable for preparing and maintaining detailed records of all site inspection, maintenance and repair work carried out on electrical machinery and equipment systems

d) Knowledge of Hydrolics functions

c) Must have knowledge of maintenance of Pneumatic machines

Job Purpose:

To maintains systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts; supervising staff. Troubleshooting, Technical Leadership, Technical Understanding, Equipment Maintenance.

Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role viz:

- Experience in planning maintenance operations

- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment

- Ability to keep track of and report on maintenance activity

Education: B.Tech/ B.E. from Mechanical/ Electronics branch from reputed college

- Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus advantage
