Job Summary if any : A SFE is responsible for the development and implementation of software for industry specific (Fire and security) applications and systems. A SFE plans, improves and manages firmware applications from inception to use.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
- Design, develop, code, test and debug system software.
- Review code and design.
Secondary Responsibilities :
- Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.
- Integrate and validate new product designs.
- Support software QA and optimize the performance.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge :
- Core competency in real time system Protocol design and data communications.
- Expertise in the Communication protocols like I2C, UART, SPI, USB, TCP/IP.
- Design, build and maintain high performance, high quality IOT frameworks on embedded platforms.
- Hands on experience to design software platform for TFT/ HMI display.
- Solid understanding of the programming language Embedded C.
- Good Knowledge in IOT.
- Hands On experience in Embedded Linux (preferable).
- Hands On Experience in RTOS (preferable).
