Raw Material Procurement Role - Chemical Extract/Oil (6-10 yrs)
RM requirement planning as per the given plan for different manufacturing unit.
Ensure availability of specified quality RM from the approved source.
Monitoring production covers against the inventory norms.
Study & monitor the market requirement demand supply of various products
Search alternate source for single source RM.
Measure supplier performance continuously for quality & on time delivery.
Search supplier for new category products RM.
Maintain all new RM literature, specification, COA & MSDS record
Raising purchase order as per the requirement/ as per the given plan for various manufacturing locations.
Attach justification note with P.O. prepare price revision note, send the order to concerned vendor, documentation, follow-up for availability, arrange transport, ensure quality of RM as specified by R&D.
Study & keep records of RM market rates & fluctuation.
Vendors input RM used for finish products & price of those input raw material. Understand factors affecting the rates of input RM
Create the MM code for new product development
Prepare forecast & inform the vendors our future requirement as per the lead time to control the inventory level. Negotiation with the vendor as per the future required & planned accordingly standard cost & MAP creation
