R&D CAD Engineer - Food Processing - Nuts/Chips & Fries (4-5 yrs)
We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Engineer who would be responsible for designing, modeling, and improving industrial food processing equipment and production lines for nuts, chips, and fries. You combine CAD expertise with hands-on R&D to develop innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, food safety, and product quality., driving innovation and excellence.
The R&D engineer is expected to translate process requirements into functional machine designs and layouts. She/he is supposed to collaborate with production and process teams to develop technical solutions for cutting, frying, drying, packaging, and cooling. The engineer conducts technical feasibility studies, FEM analyses, and mechanical calculations. She/he also prepares technical drawings and bills of materials for manufacturing and assembly. This position holder validates prototypes and test setups in R&D environments or at customer sites. Contribution to standardization, modular design, and continuous improvement is expected from this resource.
Position Details:
1) Experience: 4 to 5 years in R&D.
2) Education: BE/ME (Mechanical / Mechatronics).
3) Industry Exposure: Exposure to the food processing industry is desired and would be preferred.
4) Location: Chakan MIDC, Pune
5) Additional preferences: Understanding of HACCP and hygienic design in the food industry. Knowledge and understanding of the EHEDG guidelines.
7) Team player with strong communication skills.
