Job Title: Engineer - Innovation and R&D

Reports to: R&D Manager (AGM)

Band/Level: Manager

Location: Joka

Purpose of the Job: Conduct Research & Innovation activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

- Strategy

- Assist in research and development activities.

- NPD, Raw Material and Equipment:

- Assist in all new product development initiatives.

- Participate in the evaluation of the existing products for further improvements and extensions.

- Under the leadership of R&D Manager build prototypes for new products and processes.

- Process and Product Quality:

- Track and monitor process quality norms, specifications, manufacturing and market feedback.

- Collect and analyse data from manufacturing processes.

- Ensure proper storage and retrieval of all data and documents related to products and processes.

- Culture

- Align to the Company's Vision, Mission and Values.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

- MSc and MTech in relevant field.

- 8 - 12 years experience focused on innovation and / or R&D.

- Should be research oriented.
