Role: R&D Head (AVP Level)

Education: B.E Electrical / Electronics

Experience: 20-25 years in automotive product design and development with Product background of Auto Electrical, Plastic Automotive Product, Switches, Motor, Instrument Cluster,BCM, Injection Controls - CDI/TCI,EFI, Regulatory Rectifier.

- Knowledge Programming languages: C/C++, Knowledge of micro controller design.

- Knowledge of Tools used for debugging and analysis: ETAS Labcar, ETAS INCA, CanAnalyser

- Knowledge Real time operating systems: DIOS, EROS, ERCOS and AUTOSAR

- Knowledge of Mechanical Design Software like Pro-E, Catia V5, or Unigraphics

- Automotive Communication Protocols: CAN /LIN/KLINE

- CMMI (L5 conversant), Agile, ISO (26262),

Behaviour Skill : Good analytical skills, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolutions, Leadership Skill, Customer Interaction, Business Acumen

Responisibility:

- Lead and manage design and development of Eectrical & Electronics Poducts like Motor & Magneto, Switches, Instrument Cluster Business Line

- Growing, and managing R&D activities for Electrical & Electronics product in development across all functional lines - System Engg., Software, Hardware, Mechanical .

- Represent and actively involved with Marketing and Program Management to win new business .

- Understand the Customer's work requirement and project deliverables (Project time estimation, quality and commit delivery dates).

- Prepare and review project proposals, feasibility studies, benefits analysis for such opportunities.

- Oversee feasibility and development of all Products.

- Understand and provide technical requirements to system engineers, Software,hardware and mechanical engineers.

- Conduct Design Reviews with Cross Functional team like Program Management, Software, Quality & Manufacturing Team.

- Lead design reviews with Customer and provide solutions to team.

- Establish technology roadmap for all Electronics Product.

- Manage team sizing, structuring and budgeting.

- Managing resource ramp up, travel & project expenses.

- Set up processes & checks to ensure deliverable on time and in quality.

- Conducting goal setting and performance appraisals, mentoring employees; motivating employees; participate in recruitment, guide and train team members on processes and Policies.

- Preparing budgets, Review of budgets and track cost.

- Review processes within the function periodically; Identify and prioritize process improvement
