Safety Engineering Representative - Utilities/Energy/Oil & Gas (7-20 yrs)

Responsibilities :
- Candidate will work with the Pole Test and Treat department to develop procedures and implement a program for Contractor Safety that meets the PG&E Standard.
- Tasks will include: Create procedures, design processes, develop materials, and implement a records management system.
- Review PG&E and Contractor documentation, identify risks, make recommendations, and participate in meeting with other PG&E departments working on Contractor Safety.
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years experience managing/implementing environmental health and safety programs. Knowledge and understanding of Cal OSHA health and safety regulations.
- Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Software.
- Understanding of Root Cause Analysis and Human Performance Incident investigation.
- Prior gas and electric utility or construction experience is a distinct advantage.
