Eligibility Criteria

- 6- 8 years of relevant experience in construction safety.

- Course in Safety is mandatory (ADIS / NEBOSH / IOSH).

- Graduate in any discipline.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate safety competency of all contractor engineers and supervisors as per client guidelines.

- Conduct 100% safety induction/re-induction of workforce at project site.

- Monitor workforce and access cards issuance; ensure nil deviation.

- Carry out safety inspections before issuing work permits, ensuring strict compliance with the authorization matrix.

- Enforce compliance in areas like traffic management, electrical safety, height work, excavation, lifting operations, scaffolding, crane use, construction vehicles, confined space work, fabrication, waste management, power tools, PPE usage, and LOTO.

- Review and document HIRA/JSA/Risk Assessments and method statements for all activities; guide contractors on safety requirements.

- Inspect PPEs, maintain records, and ensure statutory compliance.

- Conduct regular site inspections, identify unsafe acts/conditions, and implement CAPA with documentation.

- Share weekly safety meeting reports and statistics with project stakeholders.

- Report and investigate incidents (near miss, first aid, MTC, LTI, fire, dangerous occurrences) and ensure CAPA to prevent recurrence.

- Maintain and track all safety documents, inspection sheets, statistics, and violation records.

- Conduct daily Toolbox Talks (TBTs), classroom training, safety drills, and campaigns; ensure ERP compliance.

- Ensure compliance with BOCW Act, state rules, and third-party inspection certifications.

- Ensure housekeeping, fire prevention, and readiness of all emergency equipment.

- Stop unsafe jobs immediately and escalate to Project Head/Client Safety Head.
