Safety Officer - Textile Industry (2-5 yrs)
Designation - Safety Officer
Qualification - B. Tech (eng) / Diploma in safety Proven experience in a textile / process industry.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conducting safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials.
2.Evaluating, safety procedures and policies.
3.Undertak,ing risk assessment of processes equipment to identify hazards including fire to ensure that appropriate control measures are in place.
4.Issuing of work permits and ensuring that jobs are done with all safety precautions.
5.Analyzing inquiring and evaluating accident reports based on available facts and applying corrective /preventive actions
6.Preparing and conducting safety training sessions for employees / contract workers and vendors
7.Ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, etc.)
8.Conversant with ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ OSHAS requirements .
