Sales Engineer - Laser Industry (2-4 yrs)

Job Summary:

As a Sales Engineer specializing in the laser industry, you will be responsible for driving sales and implementing the company's sales strategy within your designated region. This role involves generating new leads, enhancing customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. You will also assess customer needs, conduct product demonstrations, and ensure that all communications reflect the integrity and ethics of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement the company's sales strategy for selling laser machines in the assigned region.

- Effectively plan and allocate time to customers to generate orders, acquire new leads, and build strong relationships with existing customers.

- Identify and explore new potential markets within the laser industry and develop tactical initiatives to engage with them.

- Achieve assigned sales targets within the specified timeframes.

- Report sales activities and progress regularly to the head office or managers.

- Utilize various selling techniques to follow up on leads generated by the sales and marketing teams.

- Collaborate with customers and engineers to assess laser equipment needs and determine system requirements.

- Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data to shape sales strategies.

- Conduct product and service demonstrations for customers and at marketing events.

- Travel extensively throughout the assigned region for lead generation and order conversion.

- Uphold the company's integrity and ethical standards in all communications.

- Use the company's in-house CRM tool for effective information management and reporting.

Required Skills:

- Proven experience in sales within the laser industry or a related technical field is preferred

- Strong understanding of laser technologies and the ability to convey complex technical information to customers.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales software.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
